Xiaomi has made official a new color option for its Redmi Note 5 smartphone, dubbed Flame Red. The model has been launched in China (where the device carries the ‘Redmi 5 Plus’ moniker), and comes in 4GB RAM and 64GB storage options.
As for pricing, the new variant carries a tag of CNY 1,399 (around $213), which is CNY 100 (around $15) more than what other 4GB/64GB Redmi 5 Plus color options cost. Sales begin today.
If you recall, we were speculating the Chinese company to make this new color option official during its July 3 event. Now, it seems we’ll only see the Mi 6X Hatsune Edition getting announced at the event.
