Week 46 in review: OnePlus 5T steals the spotlight

After a month of teasing and a ton of leaks the OnePlus 5T finally made its official debut this week. The first 18:9 smartphone by the young company comes with a new take on the dual camera where the second module focuses on portraits and low-light rather than zoom.

vivo also introduced a new phone this week. The v7 is a slightly smaller version of the popular v7+ with a lower price tag and half the internal storage. Otherwise the two models are identical down to the impressive 24MP selfie camera and 14nm Snapdragon 450 chipset.

As the last major announcements of the year are behind us, the rumor mill started to shift its focus towards next year’s devices and reports started coming in on the Galaxy S9 and the 2018 Apple lineup.
