Week 44 in review: Razer Phone, U11 duo Oppo R11s and Nokia 2 arrive

Week 44 saw no less than seven new handsets make their debuts, with Razer’s smartphone debut gathering the most attention, while HTC brought forward its U11+ flagship and U11 Life mid-ranger.

Oppo showed its R11s flagship, while HMD and Xiaomi unveiled a trio of entry-level devices – the Nokia 2, Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite.

OnePlus delivered a few more teasers for its upcoming 5T flagship and confirmed that it will come with a 3.5mm audio jack.

In software-related news Xiaomi started the rollout of the global MIUI 9, while Sasmung started the beta test of the Oreo update for its Galaxy S8, which gave us an early look at the upcoming firmware.
