As we settle a bit after a few hectic weeks of major announcements, we can drink our Sunday coffee and look back at what shaped the news in the last seven days.
There were no truly big announcements this week. Huawei introduced the Honor 10 GT with 8GB of RAM, Samsung added the On6 to its lineup in India, Asus launched an aggressively-priced ZenFone 5Z aimed at OnePlus’ market. Speaking of OnePlus, it announced the Amber Red OnePlus 6.
What got more attention were leaks regarding the next iPhones, Galaxy Note9 and the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 and Mi A2.
A 2018 iPhone revealed it will have 4GB of RAM and an improved six core processor through Geekbench and we may see a new Blue and Orange iPhone this year. We got a great look at what could be the Samsung Galaxy Note9 thanks to case renders.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 was also seen in a live video for the first time. The video was brief but showed the phone from back to front.
The Xiaomi Mi A2 is still a hot topic. A camera sample from its dual camera leaked in a Spanish Mi forum and we saw a device captured in the wild.
So what are we looking forward to next week? The Nokia 5.1 Plus could launch on July 11, the Xperia XZ2 Premium will become available for pre-order in China and we’re sure to see an announcement or two.
Its score is iPhone X-equaling but its chipset has beefier cache.
Leaked hands-on image of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 reveals true full-screen design.
The renders are based on previous rumors and leaks. Probably the most detailed ones up to date.
The device will have the GPU Turbo and Night Mode updates out of the box.
Global ROM is already rolling out for high-end devices, midrangers will get it in Late July.
The Samsung Galaxy On6 will go on sale in India on July 05 through Flipkart.
The photo appeared on a Spanish section of the Mi forums.
The vivo NEX and Sony’s Xperia XZ2 make it to top 10 best-performing devices for June 2018.
The phone will be the successor to the Mi A1 with Android One.
The entry-level 2018 iPhone will have a 6.1-inch LCD and a single camera.
This isn’t unexpected, given the fact that the screen will fold and the whole device needs to be flexible.
The 6.5-inch iPhone will cost $1000 and come in grey, white and gold.
