There are a huge amount of instances where people who inform the public or the authority about anomalies or any grave misconduct are pressured and threatened by the accused party. Whistleblowers are protected in a number of ways from the countries that implement laws to stop the accused from finding ways to stop them from disclosing important information. The people are sometimes given the freedom of speech or expression and are sometimes offered protection programs in ensuring their safety while an investigation is ongoing.
