T-Mobile announced its new initiative to help support members of the military both veterans and active duty. The carrier announced new discounts for military customers and promises to hire 10,000 veterans and military spouses over the next five years, the biggest hiring pledge T-Mobile has ever made.
T-Mobile is also funding to expand FourBlocks Career Readiness Program for 20 cities and the program will launch online for the first time. The program helps veterans transition from the military back into civilian life by helping them find career opportunities with top companies and organizations in the US.
Veterans and active duty members of the military can get 20% off the first line of service, and half-off up to 5 lines. 5 lines of T-Mobile ONE normally cost $155 ($130 with Auto Pay) but with the new military discount, T-Mobile ONE with 5 lines costs $110. Were not sure if Auto Pay can be combined with this discount, but its already much cheaper than the regular price.
In addition, T-Mobile ONE Military subscribers can get a Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+, or Galaxy S8 Active for half-off. In order to qualify for this discount, up to three phones can be purchased via Equipment Installment Plan before May 31. The discount will be applied every month via statement bill credits.
T-Mobile ONE Military will be available at T-Mobile stores nationwide and on bases starting April 22 for military and their families, including active duty military, Reserve, National Guard, veterans, and Gold Star families, plus the small businesses they own up to 12 voice lines
The discount plan and half-off Samsung phones promo will kick off on April 22.
