Samsung Pay in the US now supports loyalty, membership cards

Samsung Pay is expanding fast – both in supported territories and in features. The latest addition to the service helps you pay less – with the addition of loyalty and membership cards (US-only for now).

The feature is pretty simple – it shows a barcode on the screen and that the cashier can scan just like a regular barcode. This allows you to carry as many cards as you want – an average American family has 30 loyalty cards, which is impractical to lug around (so often you forget to take them and miss out on deals and savings).

Of course, once those savings are applied you can just use the phone to complete the transaction. It goes without saying this new feature works only on phones that support Samsung Pay.
