Oppo launched the Find X in three iterations – the regular version with VOOC charging, a special Flash Version with 256 GB storage and Super VOOC, and an extremely luxurious Lamborghini Edition with 512 GB storage, carbon-like back, Super VOOC and a price tag of CNY9,999 ($1,500).
According to the company, the premium variant sold out in 4 seconds in its first flash sale today without actually revealing how much units were purchased. The next flash sale is yet to be announced.
The Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition is quite similar to the regular version – it has a 6.42 AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and dual-curved edges of the screen. The dual 20 MP + 16 MP camera setup and the 25 MP selfie shooter are hidden in a neat mechanism that pops up only when prompted.
The battery of the luxurious smartphone is 3,400 mAh, which is a bit smaller than the 3,730 mAh power cell of the Find X but can be topped from 0 to 100% in 35 minutes with the 50W SuperVOOC charge. For the first flash sale, Oppo offered the phone with free Bluetooth over-the-ear headphones that cost CNY699/$102/88 if purchased separately.
