With posters showing that the Nokia X will be unveiled on April 27 (which is this Friday), HMD is completing the required certifications to launch the phone. Which is despite doing the simple math that X = 10 isn’t going to be a flagship offer. A 10W charger bundled with it just came to confirm that.
Two model numbers TA-1099 and TA-1109 have been certified by the CCC wireless authority. The listing doesnt reveal much beyond TD-LTE (showing these are China Mobile handsets) and the charger.
CCC’s certification for the Nokia TA-1099 and TA-1109 (presumably Nokia X variants)
Its a 5V/2A charger, meaning its as ordinary as they come nothing fast here. That, along with the lack of hype surrounding the Nokia X launch shows that the phone is going to be a spiritual successor of the original X model from 2014 rather than a new flagship device.
