Nokia has revealed that it will be pushing out monthly security updates to all its smartphones. The confirmation came in the form of a reply to a user query on Twitter.

In addition, the tweet said the company will also push out regular software updates. However, the time-frame for which a particular handset will receive such updates wasn’t revealed.
The Nokia 6, which was announced in January this year, marked the company’s return to smartphones. Last month, the Nokia 5 and 3 were also made official. Two more smartphones are said to be in the pipeline, and a Snapdragon 835-powered flagship is rumored as well.
