Citing data from market research firm NPD, Microsoft has revealed that the Xbox One was the best-selling gaming console in the United States for September, making it three months in a row that it has outsold Sony’s PS4.
The news came from Xbox’s marketing boss Mike Nichols who also revealed that Xbox One was the best-selling console last month in the UK as well. “In addition, Xbox One was the only gen eight console to see year-over-year growth in September in the U.S., Australia, the U.K., and many other countries worldwide,” he said.
