Huawei has launched the P20 Pro and the P20 Lite in India. Both phones will go on sale on May 3 and will be available exclusively on Amazon India.
The P20 Pro is the flagship device in the company’s lineup. While there is a lot to fawn over, such as a 6.1-inch, 2240×1080 AMOLED display, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, Kirin 970 processor and a 4000mAh battery with fast charging, what’s most arresting is the Leica branded triple camera on the back, with a 40MP main sensor, 20MP monochrome sensor and an 8MP 3x zoom telephoto lens. The P20 Pro is priced at INR 64,999 ($979). You can read our review here.
The P20 Lite is the cheapest variant in the new P20 lineup, below even the P20, which is not being launched in India at the moment. The P20 Lite has a 5.84-inch, 2280×1080 LCD with the infamous notch, Kirin 659 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The Lite model has a simpler, 16MP+2MP camera system on the back but a 24MP camera on the front. The battery is also smaller at 3000mAh. All of this does come at a significantly lower price, which is just INR 19,999 ($301).
