Finding The Best Business Ideas For You

Personally I don’t like complications and I find that the best business ideas are the simplest. Working online has many benefits, one of the biggest being the number of people who are surfing the web (as grandpa used to say!) at any given moment. It is literally millions – lots more than you’d see if you were to open a store on even the busiest freeway. You can use the internet to sell to these millions of people and buy from them as well.

Personally I don’t like complications and I find that the best business ideas are the simplest. The Ebay/ Amazon Trader. This is a great business idea and it can generate quite a lot of cash for you. The secret to success is in the research, so spend some time on Amazon looking for items that cost over $100 that are heavily discounted (50% plus). Make a list, add $30-50 to each of the prices and then see if anyone on Ebay is selling the exact same thing for roughly this price or more. If so, list the item on Ebay (using images and info from Amazon) at the “buy now” selling price you worked out. When somebody buys from your listing, simply go to Amazon and buy it, using the “send as a gift” delivery option. Amazon will fulfill your order for you and you’ll have made some easy money.

Sell your expertise. People like to get information from someone who knows more than they do: it’s part of the human psyche. Think what you are (or you could become) an expert in. Have you been trained to do something for your work? If you are a science teacher or a lecturer in law that opens up a wealth of possibilities. Or maybe you are well versed in some kind of hobby? Make a Google or Bing search to see what others are selling online and think what you can do along the same lines.

Making an information product to sell online is pretty easy. You simply have to find a solution to a problem people want solving and write a short eBook or make a video that solves it. You do not need to go into detail or spend weeks writing a text book – people want a short, simple answer to their problem and do not want to have to wade through pages of waffle and information to get there. If you were suffering from acute hemorrhoids (piles), you’d rather pay $20 for a 10 page pdf that helps you get rid of them than pay $10 for a 1,000 page reference book that might have the same answer somewhere.

Lots of people throughout the world want to start a new business or find a new job. Use your experience and knowledge to make products that will help them. If you don’t have any such experience spend a day or so online becoming an “expert”. You might be a former cop who could write an eBook telling people how to become a cop? Or a bounty hunter, or maybe you could build a site that tells people how to become a dentist in various countries around the world? Have a look on the internet to see what other people are selling and adapt it to your needs.

Whatever business you decide to go for, do it as well as you can. Aim to be the best. Make sure everything you sell actually works and does what it is supposed to. The best business ideas involve a win-win situation for the buyer and the seller. Get started on an opt-in email list and you keep selling stuff to the same customers over and over again.
