Things are lining up for the Xiaomi Mi 5X launch the date is set (July 26) and leaks have given us a peek at the specs and the looks of the phone. Perhaps the final hurdle an FCC certification has been cleared, so were all ready for launch.
The certificate goes into detail about the battery side of things 3,000mAh Li-Po power pack charged over a USB-C cable by a 10W adapter (5V @ 2A). That, combined with the rumored Snapdragon 625 chipset, should result in a solid battery life.
Even though specs info remains unofficial, people are lining up on Mi.com 250,000 people have registered their interest in the Mi 5X. Those, of course, are not pre-orders. Those will come later at an expected price of CNY 2,000 (about $300/255).
A quick refresh on the other specs 5.5 1080p screen, 4GB RAM, Android 7.1 Nougat (with the new MIUI 9). There will be (perhaps) a higher end model with Snapdragon 660.
Thanks for sending this in, Abhin!
