Google finally launched its latest messaging app Allo. Available on both Android and iOS, the app is mobile only and will use your phone number to authenticate rather than a Google account. Allo also includes the Google Assistant, a bot that you can use to do online searches within your chats. The app can also sense the context of your messages and provide relevant suggestions so you don’t have to type every single thing out. You also get support for stickers and you can also change the size of the text messages simply by dragging the send button up and down.
Opera on Android got a fresh coat of paint in this new version. You now have a slightly updated color scheme with a new font for the logo. The homepage has tabs for the different sections. You can subscribe to news feeds that will appear on the homepage. Then there are the usual features, such as the ability to block ads and compress images and videos on websites.
NBA 2K is now available on mobile with a new version for this year. It features revamped controls with controller support, deeper MyCareer mode, new historic players, expanded EuroLeague, and more.
Batman – The Telltale Series
The first episode of Telltale’s Batman game is now available mobile, with the iOS version available now and the Android version arriving shortly. The game combines the gritty world of Batman with Telltale’s unique gameplay and story telling. Future episodes will arrive separately for additional cost.
