Acer at IFA 2016: Liquid Z6 and Z6 Plus hands-on

Introduction

While Sony unveiled high-end smartphones and Huawei focused on midrangers, Acer had the low-cost options. We saw three devices premiere at IFA: the Liquid Z6, Liquid Z6 Plus, and Iconia Talk S.

The Iconia Talk S is a tablet capable of making phone calls, but it wasn’t available for hands-on at the Acer’s booth. The Liquid Z6 and Z6 Plus were though, and we are giving them the proper close-up treatment.

Acer also introduced a very interesting StarVR goggles headset, which not only looks futuristic, but will be used in some innovative setups. More on that later.
