I am sure by now that you have heard the stories about people making extra money at home using twitter. You have probably been wondering are any of those stories true. I can’t speak for everyone, however I can tell you from my personal experience that it is possible to make money using twitter.

If you have read any of my writings or you are a member of my internet marketing list then you know that I have never been a big fan of twitter. Boy have I been eating my words recently. About six months ago my students started demanding to know how to make money on twitter. It took me many trial and errors and thousands of dollars before I finally figured it out. I had finally realized that twitter was nothing more than another stream of traffic. Twitter was like the goose that laid the golden egg…so I thought! My site was receiving a ton of traffic a day it was incredible. Then reality set in, although I was getting traffic it wasn’t converting that well. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure the problem out, but nothing seemed to be working. One day while running on the treadmill it hit me like a ton of bricks. The answer was so simple I could have punched myself in the face for not realizing it sooner. I should have been sending the traffic directly to a squeeze page with a really cool irresistible offer on it. This strategy not only grew my list, but it started generating sales like a broken ATM machine.

I come to realize that twitter was just another tool, and not an end all be all solution. I started testing twitter more and more, and once I had everything running like a well oiled machine and I began to launch other niche sites. This system works so well that I am currently training a team of people to duplicate it over and over for me. Think about that for a moment… How cool is it really? Just imagine having tons of little niches raking in cash on a daily basis.

I’ll tell you what’s even cooler… I am going to share my mind numbing system with a few selected people (at zero cost to you of course). Whatever you do please avoid the same mistake that I made… DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME SENDING TWITTER TRAFFIC TO A SALES PAGE.

During my first round of testing I sent my twitter traffic directly to a sales page. I received a boat load of traffic however the conversion ratio sucked. One particular test that comes to mind is a niche site that had received approximately 40,000 visitors, and only one sale for a product that cost close to a thousand dollars. It took approximately seven months for me to generate that sale. That breaks down to almost $140 a month. After thinking about it I had come to the conclusion that my time and money would be better spent paying someone to build more adsense sites, since the majority of my adsense sites produce $500 a month on average, and it would cost me less labor.

I’m sure that you see the value in the information that I have given you in this article. I also hope that you will take action right now and start generating a steady stream of revenue using twitter as a tool. And speaking of tool… I hope that you realize now that twitter is nothing more than just a tool that you should be using along side of your other marketing tools.
